I know it doesn’t feel like you have the time for a break or a breath right now. However, the alternative is more stress and staring blankly at the walls because your mind has had enough. Your body needs a pause. Seriously, you deserve a break! You want, and likely need, to take a break that will give you the most bang for your buck; the most study-power afterwards.
How often do you still feel tired? How often are you left feeling like something is still missing, but you can’t totally figure it out and just push on with what you need to get done? Have you ever thought, “There’s gotta be something that will actually detox my body, chill me out, clear my mind, AND be quick to do,” After all, constant munchie breaks might feel good at the moment, but we know they aren’t the way to go!

Yup, you got it! This is the way to relax, de-stress, feel like you’re taking a break without actually leaving for too long, AND clear out some of that antsy “I feel like I’m going to go crazy from the inside out if I sit down much longer” feeling. Your body always has the answers – physiology is amazing! This is science and a bit of energetics combined. When done right, here’s what happens inside your body:
All you have to do is take a quick break and practice this in your seat or standing up. Whatever suits you best at the time.
Let me walk you through the abdominal breath. Once you learn how to do this, it is a great tool to use at any time. Although all the steps are here to do it on your own, you could always just skip to step 7.
Keep in mind – the heart may pump blood, but the breath moves ALL of your circulation all the way through. With all the stress and pressure you may be experiencing at the moment, doesn’t it feel good that you at this little tool that you can do use to help resolve the stress on a few levels?
